Harry Hudson Joins The 'Gate
Margate FC can confirm the signing of centre-half Harry Hudson from Vanarama National League South side Tonbridge Angels.
21-year-old Hudson started his career in the West Ham Youth set up before signing for Watford U18’s. Hudson went on to make appearances for the Hornets U23’s side.
The talented centre-half later signed for Billericay Town, before making the switch to the Angels where he featured 32 times in all competitions last season.
Manager Andy Drury was pleased to have secured the services of Hudson.
“Harry is a young centre back that already has experience of playing football levels above this one. Harry has the ability to be a key part of our new team this season at Hartsdown Park and I am really looking forward to working with him”.
“The fact that Harry had five or six other offers on the table but chose to join us shows the exciting project that we have happening here”.
The signing of Hudson follows on from yesterday’s signing of former Folkestone Invicta Midfielder Kieron McCann.
The Club would like to welcome Harry to Hartsdown Park.
It won’t be long until Harry comes up against his former club as we host Tonbridge Angels at Hartsdown Park on Saturday 23rd July 2022 as part of our pre-season schedule.
