Enfield Town (A) - 2nd December 2023
By Josh Cole
Enfield Town is up next for the ‘Gate on Saturday as we travel to The Queen Elizabeth II Stadium for matchday #18!
An 88th minute penalty prevented Margate from getting all three points against Bognor Regis on Tuesday, you can read the full match report by clicking here.
OPPONENTS SEASON SO FAR:
Enfield Town are sat in 4th place on 31 points from 17 games and occupy one of the four playoff spots. They started the season unbeaten for the first six games with four wins and two draws. They then slipped off form after a loss to Carshalton (0-3) with one win from their next four. After a big 6-3 win against Hashtag United, and a 1-4 win against Wingate and Finchley they lost to Hornchurch (2-0). Two more wins and a draw followed before they lost to Chatham 3-1, which was their last result in the league before this match. With 37 goals so far, they are one of the most prolific teams in front of goal, with only Hornchurch (50) scoring more goals than Enfield. 28 goals conceded however is the same amount that we have conceded showing they are susceptible to conceding goals.
