Rohdell Joins

Margate Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of 27-year old Midfielder Rohdell Gordon from Potters Bar Town.

Gordon started his youth career with Stevenage where he made four first team appearances for the Football League side.

After several loan stints at non-league sides, Gordon joined Braintree Town after his release from Stevenage. Playing spells at Bishops Stortford, Hemel Hempstead and Hayes & Yeading followed.

Gordon found a home at Royston Town where he made 42 appearances again before returning to Braintree Town. A full season with Hendon followed before making the switch to Potters Bar Town in the summer.

Manager Reece Prestedge was delighted to capture the services of the lively Midfielder.

“We spoke to Rohdell in the summer but we couldn’t get it done, but I am glad he is with us now”.

“He will add something else to our midfield. You only have to look at his performance against us in September at what a great addition he will be.”

Gordon will be available for selection when the Blues travel to Harrow Borough on Saturday in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.

Everyone at Margate FC would like to welcome Rohdell to Hartsdown Park.
