Mo Kamara Becomes Latest Signing

Margate Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Mo Kamara from Herne Bay!

Kamara rejoined Herne Bay at the start of this season having played for the Bay in the 2017/18 and 2020/21 campaigns. He has also played at Ashford United, Concord Rangers, Potters Bar, and Whitehawk.

Mo had a short spell at HDP under Jay Saunders in 2021 where he mostly featured in defence before he shifted back into midfield at Faversham Town.

So far this season, since arriving at the MBS Stadium on the 30th September, he has started every single game this season before he leaves to reunite the ‘Gate.

Mark Stimson is delighted to have added Kamara to the squad. “Kamara is the presence we need. He is strong, powerful, and will add good balance to our midfield.”

Mo is available to play in Saturdays Kent derby at the Bauvill against Chatham.
