U23's Set For Title Decider On Thursday

Margate U23’s only need a point from their final game of the season on Thursday evening, to win the title!
Standing in the way of the young Blues is a trip to Otham Sports Ground to take on Bearsted, with kick-off at 7:45pm. With Maidstone winning their final game, they are currently top of the league on goal difference, but as previously mentioned, if the ‘Gate get a draw or a win, the title heads to Thanet!
Bearsted are in 7th place with eight wins, two draws and eight losses but they still have two games to play and could end up finishing in 6th, should results go their way. In the previous meetings, Margate won 2-1 in a league fixture at Hartsdown Park but in the last game, at Otham Sports Ground, it was Bearsted who won 4-0 in the Kent Intermediate Cup.
A terrific season from Salim and the lads, everyone at Margate FC is behind you, so do yourselves proud and finish the job tomorrow evening!
