Players vs Fans Golf Day

Margate FC are pleased to announce a golf day, where fans will have the opportunity to play against the players in a Ryder Cup format at Westgate Golf Club on Sunday the 21st of July!

For fans who aren’t avid golf watchers, the Ryder Cup has three different formats, but the one chosen for the Margate FC golf day is four-balls. The rules are as follows, each member of a two-man team plays his own ball (four balls are in play on every hole). Each team counts the lowest of its two scores on each hole, and the team whose player has the lowest score wins the hole. If the low scores are tied, the hole is halved.

Now the rules are out of the way, the day will cost £20 for fans who wish to attend but you will also get some extra perks which include food at 10am, a putting competition at 11am and an entry into the Margate FC raffle at 11:30am!

Raffle tickets will also be sold around the ground for today's match against Concord Rangers, so head to the club shop or ask behind the bar and secure your raffle tickets!

RAFFLE PRIZES:

- One FREE drink at every home game (T&C's apply)

- Matchday bottomless beer package for up to 5 guests (T&C's apply)

- Signed shirt by a player of your choice

- Signed match ball by a player of your choice

- A mascot package for one home game

Once all the extras are done, the golf will tee off at 12pm where fans and players will go head-to-head over the 18-hole course at Westgate Golf Club with the winners receiving a trophy celebration at approximately 4:15pm!
