A Thank You To All MFC Fans

Having worked so hard to reach the Final, our performance last was well below standards from what we expect, and what this group is capable of.

Despite the result, I wanted to pass on my and the Board of Directors thanks to every single supporter that attended last night.

It was an incredible scene before the game seeing every Margate fan, young and old come together and get behind the team.

I would like to acknowledge the hard work of Andy Everson who helped organise the Free Coach travel on behalf of the Official Supporters Club.

I would also like to recognise the incredible support from our new fans group, in particular David and Sarah for organising additional travel for our supporters.

Also, a big thank you must go to Dan Winsbury and the Youth committee, it was fantastic to see so many of our youth section in attendance. Sarah worked extremely hard in organising travel for our Youth section, as well as sorting flags for the kids to wave and create even more atmosphere.

Regardless of the performance, it was a joy to see all of our supporters coming together for the good of the club.

We will endeavour to put last night right. We appreciate the time, effort and cost of following the team and will work hard to ensure that we remain competitive so we can enjoy more occasions like last night - with hopefully a positive final outcome.
