Niemczycki New

Margate Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Damian Niemczycki from National League South side Braintree Town.

20-year-old Niemczycki is Polish born and moved to the UK aged eleven where he spent time with Arsenal Youth. In June 2021, the 6’3 shot stopper joined Oxford United before then dropping into non-league with Billericay Town.

After leaving Billericay he joined Ashford United where he impressed and earned a move to National League South side Braintree.

Niemczycki spent the second half of last season on loan with play-off chasing Beckenham Town in the Isthmian South East Division.

Manager Reece Prestedge was pleased to add the ‘keeper to his ranks.

“Damian arrives with a host of other clubs chasing his signature. He showed last season at both Braintree and Beckenham that he is a very good ‘keeper and we are pleased to beat others for his signature.”

Margate can also confirm that Emmanuel Oke, Peter Ojemen and Daniel Jinadu have been allowed to explore other opportunities to seek football at a higher level in the footballing pyramid.

Everyone at Hartsdown Park would like to welcome Damian to the club.

Check back later this evening for further player news from Hartsdown Park.
