28-year old Ashworth can play across the back four, and also in midfield and will add some versatility to Mark Stimson’s squad.
Ashworth started his career in the USA with St Louis Lions, before moving to England where he has featured for East Thurrock, Royston Town, Harlow Town, and most recently Basildon.
Manager Mark Stimson was pleased to add the player to his squad.
“I look forward to working with Ellis and would like to welcome him to the club.”
Ellis will be available for the Blues as they travel to Cray Wanderers on Boxing Day.
