Gate Opens To Welcome Former Angel
Margate Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of winger Adem Ramadan.
Ramadan joins Hartsdown Park having recently achieved promotion to the Vanarama National League South with Kent neighbours, Tonbridge Angels.
Manager Jay Saunders was quick to snap up the 21-year-old from Longmead Stadium.
Having agreed a deal with Margate, Ramadan hopes to carry on making a positive impression upon the Bostik League with his new club.
“I’m really looking forward to the new chapter. I have heard lots of good things about Margate Football Club and Jay Saunders and I’m excited to start pre-season, get into the season and see how we get on.”
The pacey playmaker knows all about the League having been heavily involved with The Angels’ super play-off run and hopes to carry the momentum into his spell with Margate.
“It was an enjoyable time at Tonbridge, I scored a few there, got some important goals and worked hard for the team and we managed to get promotion, so hopefully we can do the same at Margate.”
And what can Margate supporters expect from their latest signing? In his own words, Ramadan says…
“I’m quick and like to play on the left, cutting in and getting some shots away but I can also play wide, outside – box in and look to get crosses in for strikers. I do a bit of everything! I work hard and will run my socks off all game in the hope to impress fans and excite them.”
