PLAYER NEWS / Bowman Invited To Millwall Trial
16-year-old Bowman joined the academy last season and he combines his football development while continuing his A level studies at Herne Bay High School.
The striker earned himself regular opportunities in the first team, including a debut goal in the Blues Velocity Trophy defeat at Whitehawk as well as a first Isthmian Premier Division goal away at Lewes. Bowman has also netted nine goals in 14 games for the ‘Gate’s academy side.
Bowman has featured for both the U18’s and U23’s this season, helping them to fight for the title. His trial means he will be unavailable for the ‘Gate’s trip to Haringey on Saturday afternoon.
We wish Vinnie well for the experience and look forward to welcoming him back to Hartsdown Park next week.
