McDonalds Family Fun Day This Saturday

This Saturday is an extra special match day, as it is the first of our McDonalds Family Fun Days at Hartsdown Park.

During pre-season the club proudly announced that McDonalds were to expand their partnership with The Gate for the 2018/19 season.

Thanks to support from McDonalds’ local Westwood, Margate and Minister branches, the club is able to commit to providing more family fun for people of all ages.

From 1:30pm this Saturday, the club will be running free inflatable football sessions, a bouncy castle and DJ for fans to soak up the Bank Holiday football. Under 16s will be given the opportunity to take a penalty at half-time and can sign up at the Club Shop.

Please note this opportunity is granted on a first come, first served basis and only one place can be taken per person.

Saturday is set to a mouth-watering contest against local rivals Tonbridge Angels and some mouth-watering food and drink offers, which will be served until 8pm alongside music provided by our DJ.

Speaking about the partnership, McDonalds representative, Paul Knell said:

“We are thrilled to be able to support Margate FC for the second year running. This is an exciting opportunity to support the club’s Family Fun days, which I believe will be a huge success. Our three restaurants in Thanet wish Margate FC the best of luck for the new season ahead.”
