ABOUT THE OPPOSITION:

Herne Bay, also known as ‘The Bay’, were formed in 1886 and play their football at the Crest Stadium (Winch’s Field) which has a total capacity of 2,800. Last season in the Isthmian South-East the Bay finished 8th, ten points outside of the playoffs. In the summer, Herne Bay have bolstered their squad under Steve Lovell and have only played one game, which they won, starting the season off in the best possible fashion, setting up a tasty encounter at Hartsdown Park. With their home colours being blue and white, Herne Bay will have to change to their away kit for this game which is yellow and black.
