Comedy Night At Hartsdown Park

Margate FC in partnership with Concussed Comedian are delighted to confirm that we will be hosting a comedy night in the Hartsdown Bar this April.

The event will be for over 18’s only with tickets costing £10 each. Dining packages are available for groups of ten upon request. Below is a short description on each act that will be bringing the laughs to Hartsdown Park on the evening.

MC: Matthew Mckew

Lifelong Margate FC fan Matthew promises to bring a night of belly laughs and amusement to Hartsdown Park. He has hosted comedy nights for Solent Comedy and Mirth Control across the UK, and has performed sets at the likes of the Stand Up Club London. Last year he received 5 star audience reviews for his debut Edinburgh Fringe Show: The Concussed Comedian & Friends. He has run sell-out shows in Birchington and Whitstable, and hopes to add Margate to the list.

Opening Act: Wilson Milton

Wilson was the first and only comedian to have a full routine hosted on LadBible and go viral for his hilarious, cheeky wit. Recently on BBC radio 4, he has provided tour support for Tom Stade and is a regular at the Comedy Store, Glee Club and Up the Creek. He also runs Ha Harbour Comedy Club in Ramsgate.

Middle Acts: ELZ and Claudia Trentino

Thanet’s own ELZ is a comedy cabaret performer sure to leave you well and truly tickled, while Kent-comic Claudia Trentino is fast becoming one of the most popular acts on the southeast circuit.

Headliner: David Tsonos

Starting off in Canada in 1999, London-based David Tsonos has performed in over 15 countries, numerous festivals and has vowed to continue to make people laugh until aliens with no sense of humor take over Earth. He has thrilled audiences across Romania, Turkey, Ireland, Hungary, Malta, China, Singapore, Austria, Holland, U.S., Canada, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Germany, Guernsey, Norway, Luxemburg, Jersey, Australia and Belgium.

He does regular sets at the UK’s top comedy nights. including The Comedy Store, 99 club, Top Secret, Backyard Comedy Club, The Laughterhouse, Covent Garden, Funhouse comedy, Frog and Bucket, Up The Creek, Comedy Club, Monkey Barrel Comedy Club, The Forge, Comedy Carnival, Out of Bounds Comedy, The Secret Comedy Club, Komedia, and many others.
