CLUB NEWS / Sam Blackman Departs HDP
Blackman gave his all for the badge, appearing well over 100 times for the ‘Gate and scoring plenty of goals from midfield. He also wore the captains armband for last season and was a big personality in the dressing room.
We thank Sam for all his efforts over the last few years and wish him the best of luck in the future.
Margate chairman Ricky Owen said: “I wish Sam all the best for the future and thank him for all he has given to the club. He’s a top player and more importantly, a good person.”
We can also confirm that goalkeeper, Harry Seaden, and left back, Toby Stevenson, will also leave the club and seek pastures new, and we wish them both well in the future.
Stay tuned to our social media pages over the next few days for some player arrivals…
