The 21-year-old plays at left back and was a part of the Charlton and Millwall youth academies!
He most recently played for Hythe Town in the Isthmian South-East last season and fans should remember his wonder-goal in the first pre-season game against Whitstable Town!
Ben Greenhalgh added: “Kai is a player I’ve known for years, back to when he was a pro at Millwall, he actually featured last pre-season towards the end, but things were all a bit too late to make things happen. I spoke with Watty at Hythe and he was very keen so Kai gained some valuable experience with them last season and as soon as the season was over, our conversations started. We wanted Kai to come in and see how he finds it, as in our opinion, he was never classed as a trialist. His first game he set his standards with a brilliant strike and has gone from strength to strength in training and games since. All the players understand that this season in every position we’re going to have heathy competition so that we can all demand the most out of each other!”
