Dsane: "I Can't Wait To Express Myself"
By Reece Hibbird
New signing Eddie Dsane says he is looking forward to being able to “express” himself after joining the ‘Gate in the week from Isthmian Premier Division side Horsham.
The striker was a fans favourite with the Hornets but says he is looking to kick on at Hartsdown Park after making the switch.
“It was good to start really fast on Tuesday night in the Kent Senior Cup and score two goals, I was gutted to not get my hat-trick”.
“I am looking forward to being able to express myself here at Margate. We have a really good team and I just want to help kick us on”.
Dsane recognises the threat that this weekend’s opposition Aveley have, however he says if the Blues apply themselves correctly they can earn the three points.
“Newly promoted teams are always tough. But like I say we have a good team here and we play well between the lines so we know we can definitely go there and get the win”.
Interest in the striker was high in recent weeks, however Dsane says the chance to link up and play under Manager Andy Drury was a big factor in joining Margate.
“I spoke to Andy and he really sold it to me. He spoke about being able to play with freedom and being able to express myself on the pitch. I spoke to some other Managers in this league but Andy really sold the club well to me and I am delighted to be here”.
Dsane will look to add to his two goals on debut as Margate travel to Aveley on Saturday in the Isthmian Premier Division.
