Tyrone Sterling is a true non-league veteran of the game; Tyrone has racked up a very impressive 585 appearances in the game. Tyrone began his career with five years at Cray Wanderers. After his time with Cray, Tyrone joined former National league side Dover Athletic where in his time with the club was able to help get the club promoted by winning the National League South play-off final back in 2014.Following his time at Dover Tyrone had short stints with Dartford, Bromley, Concord Rangers, Hemel Hempstead and Dulwich Hamlet. On two separate occasions once with Concord Rangers and once with Bromley Tyrone missed out on silverware by being part of the team that was runner up in the FA Trophy in the 2017/2018 and the 2019/2020 seasons. Tyrone returned to Dover last season before moving to the ‘Gate this summer to provide manager Reece Prestedge with more experience in the squad. Impressively Tyrone has also made 5 appearances for his country of Grenada where his debut was in 2018 during a CONCACAF nations league game. Tyrone has also even played for England in the 6 aside Socca World Cup in 2019.
