Margate moved closer to securing a play-off place in the Isthmian South-East after a convincing 3-1 away win at Steyning Town Community on Saturday afternoon!
It was new signing TT Walters once again who showed his quality as he netted two first half goals to give the Blues a commanding 2-0 lead at the break.
Margate were to stretch further ahead less than ten minutes into the second half as Tom Derry grabbed his first goal since joining from Folkestone Invicta.
A late Ethan Roberts goal with eigh minutes to spare wasn’t going to ruin the mood of the travelling Blues fans as cemented 4th place and a 14 point gap between themselves and those outside of the play-off places.
