The 21-year-old came through the ranks of the Dartford academy where he impressed and earnt himself a loan spell at Heybridge Swifts in the 22/23 season, and in 15 appearances he kept eight clean sheets, becoming a key player. After returning to Dartford, Heybridge would come back in for him on loan again the next season and once more, he would shine in between the sticks!

Hobbs joined us at the start of last season on a dual-reg basis from The Darts where he then provided valuable cover for Harry Seaden as well as starting the first two games and performing well. He appeared this pre-season, and now he joins us officially after completing his time at the Dartford academy to compete with Tom Wray for the goalkeeper spot!

Harry has been a key player since signing for the ‘Gate at the start of the 22/23 season, and he has excelled on and off the pitch, from scoring the winning penalty in the Kent Senior Cup Final to bonding with the fans and becoming a real favourite around Hartsdown Park! Hudson is our captain for the 2024/25 season!

Tyrone Sterling joined the club at the start of last season and was a key feature in the backline for the ‘Gate playing over 32 times! Sterling will also utilise his experience from a coaching perspective, talking up the role of player/coach for the 2024/25 season!

The centre-back started last season with Ashford United but rejoined Margate in October, where he went on to appear 28 times! Knighty, as he is known around Hartsdown Park, is popular amongst the fanbase after joining the ‘Gate in July of 2021, and he featured 54 times his before he joined Enfield Town in the next season.

Hatfull has appeared over 100 times already in Blue, and became a favourite around the ground during his stints at the club! He started off as a midfielder but soon transitioned to right back where he shined, demonstrating his attacking and defensive capabilities to become a key player, as well as bringing lots of energy down the right-hand side!!

Ben Greenhalgh

Greenhalgh has been a Blue since the 2021/22 season, where as a player, he lit the blue touch paper, scoring 24 goals and assisting 28 times, becoming an instant fan favourite around Hartsdown Park.
Since then, he has continued to play and give his all for Margate FC, reaching 100 appearances at the club during the 2022/23 season and surpassing the 50-goal mark, towards the end of last season!
Greenhalgh also has experience as part of the coaching team, as he was player/assistant manager, where he helped aid the club on an incredible Kent Senior Cup run which ended with the ‘Gate lifting the trophy at Priestfield Stadium!

Rutherford was originally a winger in his first stint at the club, but last season he transitioned into midfield where he showed real talent and consistency, as he played 44 times for the club!

Derry is a serial goalscorer playing at Folkestone and Bishop’s Stortford in the league above more recently, as well as playing at a higher level than that with Aldershot, Slough, Welling and Braintree.
Tom played a key role in helping Tonbridge Angels gain promotion from the Isthmian Premier Division in 2019, going up through winning the playoffs.

Davey joins us having been at Corinthian for the past three years and has been exceptional in the middle of the park, winning players player two years in a row, as well as playing over 100 games for Corinthian by the age of 20!
He’s an energetic midfielder with brilliant control of the football and has lit up pre-season with his range of passing and quick feet to evade pressure!

Harvey spent last season as captain of Ashford United and played a big part in their season, appearing 43 times, being a key player for the Nuts and Bolts! He’s a player that covers the whole pitch and is a threat getting on the end of set pieces!

The 26-year-old has experience playing in the National League South for both Maidstone and Tonbridge, scoring seven goals in that division and last season was on fire for Folkestone and Leatherhead, scoring 17 goals! Olutade had his best spell at Folkestone, scoring 25 goals in his time there and was a popular player amongst the Invicta fanbase and now he joins us to help us get back promoted!

Ben Allen began life at Gillingham FC as a scholar before moving onto Bromley FC. His former clubs include Haringey Borough, Welling United, Concord Rangers and Dartford FC. Ben arrived in October scoring on his debut v Eastbourne.

Louie Atkins linked up with Ben at the Dartford’s Academy for three years, where he went on to score over 100 goals and gain numerous first team appearances. This included winning the Kent Cup final v Folkestone. Ako departed Dartford to join Margate in the summer of 2024 and, after a slight injury, has featured regularly since September.

Enoch signed for Welling United after his release from Watford FC as an academy player. He then caught the eye of Neil Smith of Cray Wanderers and scored in the 1-1 fixture of April 2024 at Hartsdown Park against Margate. Enoch joined to bolster the squad in November 2024, and also add a different dimension of attacking style to the team.

The 22-year-old defender comes back to Margate after briefly appearing for us during October/November of this season to help with squad depth. He also played for us in 2022/23 where he made his breakthrough at Hartsdown Park, having a good year and then getting a move to National League North side, Kings Lynn Town, where again, he thrived, being a favourite amongst fans for the 23/24 campaign! During that 2022/23 season with The ‘Gate, Eman did score in the penalty shootout win against Chatham Town which saw us lift the Kent Senior Cup trophy

The 29-year-old joins us on loan from Folkestone for the rest of the season! ‘Blacky’ as he is called around Hartsdown Park has made over 100 appearances in Blue from 2021-2024 as well as being our captain in the 2023/24 season! He left in the summer to continue playing at a step three level with Folkestone Invicta but after irregular game time, comes back on loan to The ‘Gate to help us finish as high as possible and end the season strongly!

TT as he is also known, played for Tottenham and Chelsea’s youth academies before joining non-league! He has also played for Maidstone, Ramsgate and Hastings United, just to name a few but his best spell in terms of stats came at Herne Bay from 2019-2021 where he made 33 appearances, scoring 11 goals! Walters will add pace and skills to our frontline for a crucial end of season run where we look to finish as high in the playoff places as possible!
