We are delighted to announce that Club Captain Harry Hudson has been voted as the Blues Player of the Month for August.
Harry secured 31% of the votes across our official X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and new WhatsApp Channel, narrowly beating midfielder Sam Blackman by just seven votes in a closely contested poll.
The commanding central defender impressed throughout August with a series of composed and consistent performances at the heart of Margate’s backline. He also made a crucial contribution at the other end of the pitch, scoring a vital equaliser in our 1-1 draw against Merstham on August 30th.
In recognition of his performances, Harry will be presented with the Player of the Month trophy by a current member of the Margate Supporters Club ahead of our upcoming home fixture against VCD Athletic at Hartsdown Park this Saturday.
