Margate Football Club is pleased to announce the introduction of the Square payment system across Hartsdown Park, as part of our ongoing commitment to improving the matchday experience for all supporters.
This new, modern Point of Sale (POS) system will streamline transactions and significantly reduce waiting times, allowing us to serve fans more efficiently throughout the ground.
Key Changes at Hartsdown Park:
- Faster Service: The upgraded POS system has been rolled out across the stadium, including the turnstiles, Hartsdown Bar, and Club Shop.
- Flexible Payments: Supporters can continue to pay by cash or card at the turnstiles, Hartsdown Bar, and Club Shop.
- Card-Only Zones: To help reduce queues, the outside beer van and Pie Shack behind the Herne Bay Domestic Stand will now operate as card-only moving forward, starting from our fixture against AFC Whyteleafe on Tuesday 30th September 2025.
Introducing Our New Loyalty Scheme
As part of the move to Square, we are excited to launch a new Supporters Loyalty Scheme. Fans who sign up will:
