It’s time to vote for your January Player of the Month!
January saw Margate win twice on the road at Hassocks and AFC Croydon Athletic and draw away at Sevenoaks meaning they finished the month unbeaten away from Hartsdown Park.
Our first nominee is the gaffer who netted three goals in January, including a stunner at Sevenoaks to earn that tricky 1-1 draw. As well as his three goals, the gaffer also assisted three goals in January.
TT Walters is our second nomination after also scoring three goals in January, including a double at Croydon Athletic on the final weekend of the month to earn the Blues a fantastic 2-1 win at the league’s high flyers.
Emmanuel Oke is our third choice after putting in some combative performances in both defence and midfield, displaying his versatility and importance to the team.
Sam Blackman missed one of the ‘Gate’s fixtures in January, however his performances in the other four showed his importance to the side. His tenacity in the middle proved important in those key moments throughput the month.
