We are pleased to confirm the return of four exciting young players to the squad for the 2026/27 season.
Gabriel Duo, who suffered a long injury lay-off last season will return to Hartsdown Park this summer after returning to training at the back end of the 2025/26 season.
Defender Blu Husthwaite will also join up with the squad in pre-season after spending the second half of the season dual registered with Hythe Town.
Midfielder Loui Hoxha will also return for the new campaign after featuring in the first team during the 2025/26 season after positive performances for our U23’s side.
Finally, Vinnie Bowman has returned to Hartsdown Park and will link up with the squad this summer. After progressing through the Academy, Bowman featured in the Isthmian Premier Division under Mark Stimson before gaining further first team experience at Heybridge Swifts.
Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst is excited to be working with all four next season.
“We are excited to work with these four extremely talented players. I know the Margate fans were gutted when Gabs got a serious injury as they saw what he could do before”.
“Now he is back to fitness we are excited to get him in with the boys. Blu, again is another one that has proven his quality in a Margate shirt”.
“Loui has done exceptionally well in the youth set up here and being around the first team last year has helped develop him further and we look forward to seeing more of him”.
“Vinnie is another one that the fans were excited about previously so to get him back in a Margate shirt is a great news”.
We look forward to seeing all four players back at Hartsdown Park for the 2026/27 season.
