Margate Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of prolific midfielder Bradley Schafer from Whitstable Town.
27-year old Schafer set the SCEFL Premier Division ablaze last season as he netted 28 goals and provided 24 assists in 49 appearances.
The attacking midfielder was named Whitstable’s Players Player of the year.
Prior to his sensational form at Whitstable, Schafer includes spells at Hythe Town, Herne Bay and Faversham Town.
Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst was delighted to secure the services of Bradley for the 2026/27 campaign at Hartsdown Park.
“It was constantly spoke about last season just how influential Bradley was. All the talk how about how he could be playing much higher than he currently is. His goals and assists last season are some of the best I have seen in a long time”.
“The fact he won the players player award last season shows the respect he earns from his team mates by the way he plays, trains and his off field leadership”.
Everyone at Margate Football Club is delighted to welcome Bradley to Hartsdown Park.
