Margate Football Club are delighted to announce the signings of Johan Caney-Bryan and Albie O’Mara-Knapp ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Supporters in attendance at Saturday’s 2-0 pre-season friendly at Corinthian would have seen both in action as they made their first start in a ‘Gate shirt.
Striker Caney-Bryan joins from Herne Bay where he featured last season, scoring the goal for Bay in their 1-0 win at Hartsdown Park in April. As well as his time at Herne Bay, Caney-Bryan has also featured for Faversham Town and Hythe Town.
We are also pleased to announce the signing of 20 year-old striker Albie O’Mara-Knapp from Dartford. O’Mara-Knapp played the second half at Corinthian and can feature anywhere along the front line.
The young prospect spent time on loan last season at Isthmian South-East side Erith Town.
We would like to welcome both to Hartsdown Park and wish them well for the 2026/27 season.
