Margate return to Isthmian South-East action on Saturday as they travel to The Bourne Stadium to face Sevenoaks Town.
The ‘Gate are looking to bounce back from a disappointing couple of weeks which saw them exit the Emirates FA Cup, followed by last weekend’s first league defeat of the season at home to South Park (Reigate).
Margate are hoping to have Will Thomas back in the squad after he missed last weeks game through injury, whilst Olu Oluwatimilehin will return to the squad after gaining further fitness last week on dual registration at Sutton Athletic.
Lewis Chambers has now undergone his hernia operation and will continue to work back to full fitness.
Sevenoaks Town have endured a difficult start to their league campaign having yet to win in their opening five games, however they have drawn three of those five and only lost twice. They have drawn their last two games in the league against Merstham and Cray Valley (PM), however they did enjoy a 3-1 away win at Ashford United in the GoCardless Kent Senior Cup First Round.
Saturday will be the fifth meeting between these two sides and it has been even with both sides winning one each and drawing the other two.
Last season saw Margate seal a dramatic 4-3 win at Hartsdown Park in September which was the Blues first league win of the season, whilst at Greatness Park in January the two sides shared the points in a 1-1 draw.
Margate will wear their away kit for this fixture for the first time this season.
Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm.
