Tonight sees us welcome Faversham Town to Hartsdown Park for our last scheduled Tuesday night league home game of the season.
It has been a manic month for both sides with tonight being Margate’s 7th game of October with still one to follow on Saturday at home to Eastbourne Town.
Saturday saw us earn a wild 3-3 draw away at Crowborough Athletic as the second storm of the storm season battered the UK.
Faversham have had equally a manic month, tonight will be there 9th of the month. They exited the FA Trophy on Saturday at home to Newmarket Town 1-0.
Margate manager Jamie Coyle will be able to call upon Finn O’Mara and David Adewoju after they served their suspension at the weekend. Defender Will Thomas will be available despite his red card on Saturday.
Mikey Dalton will be fit to play as is Connor Wilkins who was replaced at half-time on Saturday. Jake McIntyre and Lewis Chambers wont quite make it in time, whilst Olu Oluwatimilehin is likely to be missing after picking up a knock on Saturday.
The Faversham squad and management team is littered with former ‘Gate players including Kane Haysman, Harry Hudson, Jack Evans, Troy Howard and Kai Garande, whilst Manager Steve Watt and assistant manager Frannie Collin are familiar to the ‘Gate faithful.
Last season these two sides played out two draws, a 2-2 thriller at Hartsdown Park, while they shared the points as well in a 0-0 draw at the home of Faversham.
Enjoy tonight’s game.
