Margate FC are absolutely delighted to confirm that left-back, Kai Garande, will be staying at The Club for the upcoming campaign!
Starting off as Trialist A in pre-season, Kai quickly made a real impact and signed for the 2024/25 season!
In that season, he played in 52 matches, second-most in the squad, and won Supporters Club player of the year!
Ben Greenhalgh said: “Kai has had a brilliant breakthrough season and really raised his game. When I spoke to him in pre season it was always an opportunity but also was honest in the way we would give him his chances and if he could show us the levels we knew he had in him then he would be grabbing that position as his own.”
“Kai has offered a lot for us going forward as well this season and has been a brilliant outlet down the left. Signing on again shows his faith in ourselves and also Margate as a football club.”
“I’m sure Kai has a great future in the game but right now he’s up for the challenge at hand and we’re going to continue pushing him to keep raising his levels and kick on too!”
