The versatile player can play in Midfield or as a Striker for the Blues. Bessey-Saldanha will be familiar to the ‘Gate fans after making 46 appearances in all competitions and scoring seven goals last season.
Bessey-Saldanha has featured for Andy Drury in the past two friendlies against Faversham Town and Dover Athletic, and the new boss is pleased to have him back on board for the new season.
“I am pleased that we managed to get James over the line. We all know what he can do, he has certainly shown that in the previous two games”.
“I know he was a particular fans favourite last season, and rightly so. I know that our fans wanted this one done, so I am pleased everything is sorted and James is with us for the 2022/23 season”.
