Smith Stays At Hartsdown Park
We are delighted to announce that striker Harvey Smith will remain at Hartsdown Park for the 2023/24 season.
Smith joined the Blues last summer and impressed during the pre-season schedule earning him a deal at Hartsdown Park. A promising start continued as Smith scored the clubs only two goals in the Emirates FA Cup, including the only goal in the Blues 1-0 win at Aylesbury in September.
After dual registering with Glebe, Smith returned to Hartsdown Park for the remainder of the season after Reece Prestedge and Ben Greenhalgh took charge.
Smith continued his fine cup scoring form after netting in the Blues Kent Senior Cup semi-final win over Ramsgate in April.
Manager Prestedge is looking forward to seeing Smith develop his game further at Hartsdown Park over the upcoming season.
“Harvey is still young so has plenty of time to develop his game further and we look forward to him doing that with us here at Margate.”
“We know the talent that he has, and he has shown what he can do over the past season in patches so we want to see that and more from him this year.”
Everyone at Hartsdown Park is delighted to welcome Harvey back to Hartsdown Park.
