Sterling Heads To Hartsdown Park
Margate Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Defender Tyrone Sterling from National League South side Dover Athletic.
Sterling, 35 will add an enormous amount of experience to the Blues back-line having played nearly 600 career games in his 16-year career so far.
As well as Dover Athletic, Sterling can include Cray Wanderers, Dulwich Hamlet and Bromley amongst his former clubs.
On top of his club career, Sterling has also represented Grenada five times at international level.
Sterling becomes the first summer signing of Reece Prestedge after the announcement this morning that Defender Harry Hudson has also committed to staying at Hartsdown Park for the 2023/24 season.
Prestedge said, “I am delighted to bring Tyrone to the club. You only have to look at his career to date and see what a fantastic player he is.”
“Tyrone will add a vast amount of experience to our team as well as being another positive character off the pitch which can be vital in a successful side.”
