Three Players Leave HDP
Margate FC can confirm that Vance Bola, Ken Feyi and Afolabi-Soyemi-Ololade have all left the club.
Manager Jay Saunders has acted quickly as he begins to shape his squad ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Bola, who joined the club last summer featured 41 appearances in all competitions and scored 16 times, including during the final day win over Kingstonian.
Saunders said: “I got on well with Vance, he is a good lad. Vance scored some brilliant goals for us, and is a top bloke but there are lots of tough conversations at this time of season, and this is one of them”.
“I would like to wish him well with the future”.
Feyi, joined the Blues in November 2021 scored twice in his 13 appearances in a ‘Gate shirt, whilst Soyemi-Ololade made four sub appearances for the ‘Gate without scoring.
On Feyi and Soyemi-Ololade, Saunders thinks they need to find something closer to home.
“Both the boys live quite a distance from Margate, so I think they will be looking for something closer to their respective homes, but I wish them both well.
Everyone at Margate FC would like to wish all three players well for the future, and thank them for their efforts whilst at Hartsdown Park.
Manager Jay Saunders added: “Supporters should keep a close eye on the website to keep up to date with more player news of incoming and outgoing over the coming days”.
