INTERVIEW / Seaden: "Room To Improve"
Seaden: "Room To Improve"
By Dylan Smith
Margate goalkeeper Harry Seaden feels that the boys have “room to improve” as they look on to upcoming fixtures after the 2-1 loss to Cheshunt on Friday evening.
“It’s a frustrating loss, but obviously there’s always room to improve for any fixture, so we will go on to Monday and carry on.”
Seaden insists there is no panic after the loss as he looks forward to a busy month ahead, starting at Folkestone on Monday.
“Its early days, we have got a lot of games coming up, you know it’s going to be a long, long season. Cheshunt were a good side who worked the ball well in the second half, we were on top but these things happen, it’s football. It’s something to learn from.”
Seaden has found his feet in the squad, feeling that he has integrated well with his new teammates
“I have found it really comfortable, thank you to Reece and Ben as well for everything, it is good to get the games under my belt. I am in a really good young side, with some experience as well, it’s a really good group and we will see how the season goes.”
The ‘keeper believes that there is “something to build on” after taking six points from their opening four games.
“Our point’s total is a good start, it’s something to build on. We take each game as it comes and we set ourselves targets, when I came in there was a target and we’re on the way to that, so hopefully we will go out there and get the three points at Folkestone on Monday.”
Harry is sponsored by Lukas Jones (Home) and Paul Newsome (Away) for the 2023/24 season.
