2020 Food Bank Appeal This New Year

The Gate kick-start the New Year hosting local (ish!) side Cray Wanderers at Hartsdown Park at 3pm on Wednesday 1st January 2020.

With a decent crowd expected, we're asking fans of both teams to support our efforts to collect the festive leftovers to donate to a local food bank, helping people across Thanet have a better start to 2020.

Donations will be given to those in crisis or severe hardship across the local area. Items should be properly considered before donating within the Hartsdown Bar on match day.

Welcome items include the below:

  • Long Life Juice 
  • Spaghetti (Tinned) 
  • Rice Pudding (Tinned) 
  • Fruit (Tinned) 
  • Vegetables (Tinned) 
  • Long Life Milk 
  • Tuna (Tinned) 
  • Tinned meat 
  • Jam 
  • Sugar 
  • Meat (Tinned) 
  • Tomatoes (Tinned) 
  • Baked Beans (Tinned) 
  • Breakfast Cereal 
  • Dried Pasta 
  • Dried Rice 
  • Pasta Sauce 
  • Tea Bags 
  • Biscuits 
  • Cup a Soup 
  • Soup (Tinned) 
  • Crackers/breadsticks 
  • Part baked rolls/bread mix
