Montel Agyemang returned to Hartsdown Park after a year away from the club in June 2023, Montel spent the 2022/2023 season playing for Billericay town but returns to add more physicality to the ‘Gate midfield. Montel was impressive in his first spell under then manager Jay Saunders. Montel began his career as a youth player with Leyton Orient and managed one appearance at Brisbane Road before going on a couple of development loans with Royston Town and Grays Athletic. Montel left Leyton Orient permanently in 2016 and joined Maldon and Tiptree before knocking in 5 goals in 7 appearances for East Thurrock United. Montel then went on to play a full season with Welling before originally signing for the ’Gate in the summer of 2021 and managed to accumulate 41 league appearances and finding the net once before leaving for Billericay Town.
