Margate can confirm that midfielder, Sam Blackman, will be permanently staying at The Club for the upcoming campaign!
Blackman started this season in the league above playing for Folkestone but as the season hit crunch time, he joined The ‘Gate on loan!
Since joining on loan, Sam made nine appearances and his experience aided us to a total of 87 points, finishing fourth!
Following this news, Ben Greenhalgh added: “It was very important to re-sign Blacky with his experience, which was clearly shown in the recent months when we managed to get him back in.”
“He cares massively for the club and once he knew the changes at Margate last season he was always wanting to come back and help the club out. With a good pre season I’m sure we’ll get Blacky back fighting every game for the badge and being a vital part of the squad!”
