Margate FC are delighted to confirm that striker, Tom Derry, is returning to Thanet for next season!
Derry joined The Blues on the 24th of January to provide something different to an already lethal front line!
He was dominating in the air and over the Easter period had six assists in two games, proving to be a key player to linking up the midfield and attack with his strength and technical ability!
Player/manager Ben Greenhalgh commented: “Having Tom in from the start of the season will feel like a new signing. His hard work instantly took a liking to everyone at Margate and in the three months where we had him his performances only got better and noticeably so did the teams.”
“His experience is massive for us in the squad as well and we can’t wait to get into pre-season and continue the momentum in which we finished with Tom leading the line!”
