It’s time to choose your Margate FC Player of the Month for September. It was a month of highs and lows on the pitch, and four standout performers have been shortlisted for the award.
Voting closes at 2pm on Thursday 9th October, and the winner will be presented with their trophy at Hartsdown Park on Tuesday 14th October, when we host Faversham Town.

The Nominations
Reece Hobbs – Featured in four matches across the month, including a fine performance and clean sheet in the 2-0 Kent Senior Cup victory at Ramsgate.
Kane Haysman – Found the net three times in September, scoring against Sheppey United (Velocity Cup), Westfield (FA Trophy) and Sevenoaks Town.
Henry Young – Returned from Dover and made an instant impact, impressing on his debut at Ramsgate in the Kent Senior Cup. Also scored a crucial goal in the 2-1 league win over VCD Athletic.
Ben Greenhalgh – Lit up the month with a stunning strike in the thrilling 4-3 win over Sevenoaks Town, and added another goal against AFC Whyteleafe. He finished September with two goals and three assists in total.
