We continue with another fixture in the South East Counties Women’s Football League as Margate play host to Kings Hill at Hartsdown Park with the ‘Gate looking to exact revenge for an earlier defeat in the league this season.
The result in question is a 3-1 defeat at Kings Hill Sports Park with George Adams side losing out even after a good display but mistakes cost them the points back in September with Emily Hall scoring Margate’s only goal that afternoon.
Kings Hill are in some decent form with a 2-2 draw at home against Holland & Blair and a crushing 5-0 victory at Charles Sports Ground in the Kent FA Plate against Deal Town, with Zara Chapman netting a hat-trick.
Margate were up giants it last week away against Glebe in Sidcup with Michaela Beach earning Margate a point with an 83rd minute equaliser to avoid defeat and keep Margate in 4th place.
Victory would put Margate a point behind 2nd place Maidstone but with the stones playing three less games and a perfect record to boast as well as Tonbridge enjoying a perfect start to their campaign.
Some good news around selection for George Adams as he is able to bring back in Abbie Greetham and captain Becca Niblett who missed out last week through injury.
