Margate Women hosted Kings Hill in a tightly contested encounter that was ultimately settled in dramatic stoppage-time fashion.
The Visitors started the brighter in the opening five minutes, creating two early chances, but both were dealt with confidently by the Margate defence. From there, Margate took control of possession, moving the ball neatly and pinning Kings Hill deep in their own half, though the final pass often lacked precision.
Kings Hill’s best chance of the first half saw an initial effort saved by Suzy Urban, with Ruby Mann superbly clearing the rebound off the line. Margate continued to press after the break, with Freya Farmery delivering an outstanding midfield performance, dominating challenges and dictating play with exceptional passing.
Chances followed through Alesha, Abbie Luby and Rebecca Niblett, the latter denied by a stunning save in the 81st minute.
Kings Hill struck late in the 92nd minute, but Margate responded immediately. Michaela Beach was fouled in the box, and Abbie Greetham calmly dispatched the penalty to secure a deserved draw.
