Margate Football Club are delighted to announce the return of striker Norman Wabo to Hartsdown Park.
Wabo initially joined the ‘Gate in October 2020 and made his debut in the Blues 4-2 away win at Aylesbury United in the FA Trophy where he scored two goals as the ‘Gate progressed.
Unfortunately it was to be the final game of that season as the campaign was halted due to COVID-19, he joined Concord Rangers in February 2021.
In his early career Wabo played in the EFL for Southend United before spells at Dartford, Ebbsfleet, Maidstone and Braintree.
In 2023 Wabo enjoyed a spell in the National League South with Eastbourne Borough with Wabo featuring last season for Bowers & Pitsea in the Isthmian North Division.
Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst said on Wabo’s arrival. “Margate fans didn’t get an opportunity to see enough of Norman last time he was here. The one game he was here though he showed his quality with two goals and we know that he possesses the quality to be a top striker here this season”.
Everyone at Margate FC would like to welcome Norman back to Hartsdown Park for the 2026/27 season.
