Margate Football Club is delighted to announce the launch of a new Reserve Team, provisionally set to compete in the Kent County League for the 2026/27 season.
This exciting new chapter represents a major step forward in strengthening the player pathway at Hartsdown Park and creating a clear bridge between youth football and senior football.
The team will be jointly managed by Salim Usman and Artur Hoxha, two coaches with extensive experience in developing young players and helping them make the transition into the senior game.
This is the beginning of a carefully planned three-year journey, with the ambition of establishing the reserves as a competitive side capable of progressing into the Southern Counties East Football League structure in the future.
Working closely alongside the first team management, the reserve side will provide ambitious local players with a genuine opportunity to develop, compete, and earn their pathway into senior football.
