Margate Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of exciting defender David Adewoju subject to international clearance.
22-year old Adewoju started his career in the QPR Academy before moving to Huddersfield Town.
Whilst at Huddersfield, Adewoju featured for the clubs U21’s side as well as spending time on loan at Bradford Park Avenue and Farsley Celtic.
Adewoju spent time with Raynes Park last season before spending some time in the USA.
Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst was delighted to finally get the deal over the line.
“Delighted to welcome David on board for next season we have been really patient with this one , he’s someone who adds pace and power to the back line something we wanted to bring in he’s left footed and can play across the back line his pedigree is brilliant having been at Huddersfield and also his experiences at step 4 last season are vital for him to help us achieve what we want to do this year”.
Everyone at Hartsdown Park would like to welcome David to the club and look forward to welcoming him to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
