We are delighted to announce the signing of 21-year old Midfielder Ryan Huke.
The young energetic midfielder spent the majority of his youth career with Championship side Charlton Athletic where he won the Professional Development League Two title and two consecutive London Senior Cups with the Addick’s U21’s side.
Huke joined National League South side Farnborough last season and spent the last few months of the campaign on loan at Isthmian Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic.
Huke made his Margate debut on Tuesday evening in our 1-0 win over Whitstable Town in the GoCardless Kent Senior Cup.
Manager Jamie Coyle was pleased to add “something different” to his side.
“ We are delighted to bring in attacking midfielder Ryan Huke. Ryan is formerly of Charlton Athletic, where he played his football from under-13 level right through to the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.
“Having spent time at Farnborough and Carshalton last season it’s another great addition to the squad at the right age and something different to what we have”
In addition to Huke’s arrival, we can confirm that Midfielder George Brooke has left the Club.
We wish George well in his future endeavours.
