Margate Football Club are delighted to announce a trio of signings ahead of today’s Isthmian South-East clash with Punjab United.
Firstly, Margate fans at Herne Bay would have spotted new midfielder Perri Iandolo who made his ‘Gate debut after signing from Whitstable Town on Tuesday afternoon. The combative midfielder is a ball playing midfielder and impressed on debut.
He joined Whitstable in the summer from Lewes where he played at step 3 last season.
We are also delighted to announce the signing of defender Joe Tyrie from Herne Bay. The commanding centre-half spent last season at The Crest Stadium making 30 appearances, before agreeing to another season before making the switch to Hartsdown Park yesterday.
Tyrie includes Faversham Town, Tonbridge Angels and Folkestone Invicta amongst his former sides.
Finally, we are pleased to announce the signing of pacey winger Michael Ademiluyi. The winger joins from Ashford United. He played over 20 times for Sheppey United last season and was part of the Cray Valley (PM) side that won this division in the 2023/24 season and their run to the first round of the FA Cup where they eventually lost to Charlton Athletic in a replay.
