Margate continue their preparations for the 2025/26 season this evening as we make the trip to SCEFL Premier Division side Corinthian for our fifth pre-season fixture.
The Blues head into the game full of confidence following Saturday’s impressive 5-0 victory over Isthmian North Division outfit Concord Rangers. Supporters will be hoping for another strong performance as momentum continues to build ahead of the new campaign.
From a fitness and squad perspective, things are looking positive for the ‘Gate. With just over two weeks to go until our league opener at home to Jersey Bulls on Saturday 9th August, the management team will be pleased to have a fully fit squad available. Tonight’s fixture presents another valuable opportunity for all players to gain crucial minutes as preparations intensify.

Corinthian begin their SCEFL Premier Division season this coming Saturday with a tough home fixture against recently relegated Hythe Town.
It’s been a challenging pre-season so far for the Hoops. After their opening friendly against Lordswood was postponed, they’ve played just three matches—drawing 1-1 with Greenways, suffering a 4-0 defeat to Isthmian Premier Division side Lewes, and most recently losing 2-0 at home to newly promoted VCD Athletic.
