Margate FC’s Under-23s gathered on Friday evening for their annual presentation night, marking the end of a successful and hard-fought 2024/25 campaign. Players, coaches, friends, and family came together at a local venue to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the squad.
A number of individual honours were handed out during the evening, recognising the standout contributions from several key players across the season:
- Players’ Player of the Season – Finley Saunders
Chosen by his teammates, Finley was recognised for his consistent performances and leadership both on and off the pitch. - Manager’s Player of the Season – Fabian De Oliviera
Awarded by the coaching staff, Fabian impressed with his work ethic, versatility, and tactical understanding throughout the year. - Golden Boot – Woody Pitman
Woody took home the Golden Boot after finishing as the U23s’ top goalscorer this season, showing sharp instincts and a clinical edge in front of goal. - Goal of the Season – Nathan Geddes
Nathan’s spectacular strike earned him the Goal of the Season accolade, a moment of real quality.
Manager Tur Hoxha praised the squad for their commitment and progress over the season, noting the development of individual talent and the strength of the team spirit within the group.
