Margate Football Club are delighted to announce a trio of signings ahead of our fixture away at Sevenoaks this afternoon.
Manager Ben Greenhalgh has moved to strengthen his side further ahead of a crucial run of games between now and the end of the season.
Firstly, we would like to welcome back to Hartsdown Park experienced midfielder Yaser Kasim. The 34-year old midfielder will provide further strength in midfield, and rejoins the Blues after making 26 appearances previously during the 2022/23 & 2023/2024 seasons.
Secondly, Greenhalgh has moved to sign promising 19-year old goalkeeper James Batt to provide cover for Tom Wray who continues to struggle with an injury. Batt started his career with Charlton Athletic before then moving to Bromley.
Finally, we are delighted to welcome back defender Ronnie Vint who has committed to the end of the season. “Vinty” has made 7 appearances so far in a Blues shirt, once last season and six this term, however other commitments away from football meant he hasn’t featured more recently, however he returns to Hartsdown Park until the end of the season.
We would like to welcome Yasir, James and Ronnie to Hartsdown Park. All three will be available for selection this afternoon as we face in-form Sevenoaks Town.
