Margate Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Defender Finn O’Mara from Whitstable Town.
27-year old O’Mara has enjoyed a successful career to date which started at Gillingham. After leaving Priestfield, O’Mara enjoyed spells at Folkestone Invicta, Welling United, Hastings United and Faversham Town.
In February 2025, O’Mara returned to Whitstable on dual registration from Hastings United where he was to go on and lift the FA Vase at Wembley.
Assistant Manager Matt Longhurst was excited to bring Finn to Hartsdown Park. “Finn has proven over the years how valuable he is to every club he has played for. At just 27-years old he brings so much experience which will help us here at MFC”.
Everyone at Hartsdown Park would like to welcome Finn to Hartsdown Park ahead of the 2026/27 season.
